PrivacyRules is an international alliance that integrates legal, tech and data crisis communication solutions for data privacy. Together with its members, PrivacyRules provides these solutions while continuously refining and adjusting to evolving threats and regulations.
This week, the alliance held its Annual conference in Paris, hosted by Ydes, an exclusive French law firm member. The agenda covered discussions on emerging threats in the data privacy landscape, new law and regulations in different jurisdictions, and innovative initiatives and services. Representatives from CSS Assure and Shakespeare Martineau included Charlotte Riley, Caroline Bradshaw, Trevor Fenton and Kim Walker who attended on behalf of the UK.
Charlotte Riley participated in the panel titled “Cybersecurity and privacy at the crossroads: Emerging regulatory requirements and their intersection – An international Comparative overview”. Other panellists included; Gene Price (Cybersecurity Lawyer & Partner – Frost Brown Todd), Cecile Gleysteen (EU DPO – Ubisoft) and moderated by the alliances’ new Chairperson Luiza Sato of Tozzini Freire Advogados.
