Mike

Mike Wills

Director of Strategy and Data Services

Mike has 20 years of wide ranging experience as an officer in the British Army, specialising in Data Services and Information Security, before moving into consultancy, work for several high profile companies in civilian life.

In his multiple roles with the military he was responsible for the security of regimental information networks and the implementation of complex battlefield communications systems, particularly information management protection and the secure passing of information and data.

After leaving the military he became a consultant for some of Britain’s top 50 companies, engaged in programme management and policy creation for their information management processes and security, advising at the board level and working directly with his clients’ IT specialists.

His two decades of practical experience make him highly qualified for his role as Director Of Strategy and Data Services in which he designs policies for businesses to manage their data protection and ensure their compliance with regulations. From his analysis of a company’s current position he can also advise how to maximise the value of the information they currently hold as well as optimising future usage of data they have yet to collect as their business grows – thinking big from the start to optimise opportunities in the future.

Building on his decades of military experience and the wide range of expertise gathered through his consultancy work, Mike is uniquely equipped to strategise the data protection needs of clients and deliver solutions tailored to their precise needs.

Charlotte Riley

Director, Information Security and Technology

Charlotte has unparalleled knowledge and experience of Information Security and Technology built over 12 years in multiple roles in the field. Her proven expertise in Security Architecture, Consulting and Program Management stems from her vast experience in IT and Information Security, making her a widely recognised Security Leader.

Her depth of knowledge has been garnered from serving in the Royal Signals across two warzones, ensuring that allied communications were safe from outside threats before joining NATO as a senior advisor. Once in post, she was asked to lead the implementation of the largest IT infrastructure system in NATO’s history with the brief of planning, directing and executing the installation of the system across the organisation’s 26-member country sites. On leaving the military Charlotte became the chief security architect of several Forbes and FTSE listed companies, quickly being promoted to serve as a board representative and advisor on Information Security.

Her work with the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice, UK Government, NATO and leading Fortune 200 and FTSE 150 organisations across a whole range of complex security programs has made Charlotte an accomplished, focused professional with a rich background and skillset.

Nick

Nick Pomponio

Director of Operations and Development

Nick is a highly skilled business operations manager and technical specialist. Over more than a decade working on defence programs, military operations and financial management he has grown to be an acknowledged leader in global operations programs, logistic capabilities, corporate restructuring, organisational design, and post-acquisition integration with experience working in U.S., European and African markets.

His natural leadership skills and technical proficiencies have been honed through wide-ranging experience in both military and civilian enterprises.

After starting his career as an investment banker for Wells Fargo he became a project manager with US European Command, working as liaison between NATO and PfP countries before becoming a NATO Treasury Officer based in Brussels.

Upon leaving NATO he worked as an Operations Manager for US Africa Command based in Germany, and subsequently moved on to become a Special Programs Manager of with global operations responsibilities including the execution and oversight of Congressional-level budgets, a post which further enhanced his ability to work in time sensitive and resource constrained environments.

Moving to Britain to complete his MBA, he became the Head Of Development for UK Power Reserve, responsible for Business and Project Development of the UK flexible energy generation firm.

As Director of Operations and Development for CSS Nick he has brought this wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in his role, running the day-to-day business operations, managing a team of business development executives, and executing the commercial and financial requirements of CSS to enable long term, sustainable growth.
